Who Are We?

The Somerset Energy Assessors Association (SEAA) is a group of independent Domestic Energy Assessors who have joined together with the aim of delivering a top-quality professional service to local clients throughout Somerset.

Clients

We maintain a list of independent assessors in each part of Somerset for use by estate agents, solicitors and surveyors.
Independent assessors provide a personal service at competitive prices. They have fewer overheads, and you pay no commission to a third party.
Independent assessors build relationships with local businesses, representing their interests in a professional manner. This comes with guaranteed backup from the whole team, and support from a central office. No client is too big or too small.

Click on the Members tab above to find a list of assessors in your area.

Assessors

Membership is open to independent assessors, based in Somerset. It is free to join us, but we do insist on a code of conduct and practice, and we do maintain our standards at a level which is going to please our clients. We operate our own complaints procedure and we must have an office copy of professional qualifications.

Homeowners

The Homeowners page gives information about the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) that sellers are going to require, starting from the roll-out on August 1st 2007.There are links to websites offering impartial advice on energy efficiency in the home.
If you are selling your home independently, you can cut costs by getting your EPC from an independent assessor
